A successful Warrington football club has scored a big-name sponsorship for its under-16s team.

Moore United FC U16 Reds have received the backing of waste management specialist CSG through the business’ Community Chest scheme, which seeks to support good causes around its 30 UK bases.

The team wore their new kit, with CSG proudly printed on the front of the shirts, for the first time last weekend in a 3-1 win at home on Saturday 13th

Team manager Adam Naylor thanked CSG for its support.

He said: “We are a thriving football club which has been within the heart of Warrington for almost 70 years.

“Running a football club is costly with ground maintenance, insurance, league fees and so on, so for CSG to pay for our team’s home kit is a fantastic boost.

“I know the lads appreciated the new kit and they put in an impressive performance to win by two goals in its first outing.”

CSG helps households and organisations by offering a complete variety of services ranging from waste collection through to treatment, recovery and disposal of countless waste streams.

Its Cadishead facility is a significant employer and processes more than 100,000 tonnes of waste each year.

Daryl Tunningley, Marketing Manager at CSG, said: “We’re delighted to sponsor Moore United FC U16 Reds for the 2025/26 season and the new kit looks fantastic.

“Our Community Chest programme is our way to support good causes in the local communities around our network of nationwide facilities. We look forward to supporting many more groups and organisations in the months to come.”
