The Environment Agency (EA) rules state that you must arrange a septic tank or cesspit emptying once a year or in line with the manufacturer’s instructions. The septic tank or cesspit might need to be emptied more frequently if smaller or depending on the number of people living at your property. Our operators are happy to advise on how frequently your sewage system needs to be emptied on the first visit
