CSG supports festival’s 75th anniversary

A much-loved community festival marked its 75th anniversary in spectacular style – with a helping hand from CSG.
Thousands flocked to Prince’s Park for the Irlam & Cadishead Community Festival, which featured family entertainment, street performers, live music, games, funfair rides, delicious food and, to top it all off, a firework display.
The landmark event relied on the generosity of local businesses, with CSG contributing a £300 donation through its Community Chest initiative.
Daryl Tunningley, Marketing Manager at CSG, said: “It’s a privilege to support such a fantastic community event that has brought people together for three-quarters of a century.
“We’ve already helped more than a dozen good causes through our Community Chest scheme – with many more to come. It’s just one of the ways we give back to the communities close to our 30 bases across the UK.”
Now running independently from the council, the Irlam & Cadishead Community Festival continues to be a highlight in the local calendar.
