Nottinghamshire footballers bag new shirt sponsorship

A group of young Nottinghamshire-based footballers have bagged a new front-of-shirt sponsor thanks to a leading waste management specialist.
Newark Town under-14s Titans, who play at Devon Park in the East Midlands, have recently received brand-new kits thanks to CSG’s Community Chest initiative, which seeks to support good causes around its 30 UK bases.
Eurotech Environmental Limited – which was acquired by CSG last year – has its offices close to the football club on Northern Road in Newark.
Eurotech offers a range of services, including 24/7 national tankering and hassle-free domestic tank emptying.

The Newark Town under-14s Titans team has started the season well, winning five of their first nine games and losing only once.
Wearing their new kit — sky-blue shirts with CSG’s red logo on the front, paired with navy blue shorts and sky-blue socks — the team secured a 2-1 victory over DLFC Blue last weekend.
Daniel Swinscoe, Manager of Newark Town under-14s Titans, was incredibly grateful for the support.
He said: “We cannot begin to explain how grateful we are for the support from CSG. We are a local community football club, and this donation, as part of their Community Chest scheme, will give us a huge boost for the season.
“Running a football team is expensive, and there are a lot of costs involved. We have good facilities but have to pay for things like referees, training pitches and coaching badges – so any additional support we receive is greatly appreciated.
“Kids love having new kit and they were beaming with joy when the new strip arrived. They are incredibly passionate about the club, and they love seeing it do well.”

CSG helps households and organisations by offering a complete variety of services ranging from waste collection through to treatment, recovery and disposal of countless waste streams.
Scott Taylor, Eurotech Transport Manager, said: “We are delighted to be able to help the youngsters at Newark Town under-14s, and their new strip with our logo on it looks brilliant.
“The Community Chest initiative is our way of supporting good causes in the local area around our UK sites. We look forward to continuing to support these.”
